Telephones Pop-Up Exhibit at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair

Come out and see Montgomery History’s newest pop-up exhibit featuring telephones at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair on Monday, August 13 and Wednesday, August 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The hands-on exhibit will let you experience the feel of early hand cranked phones, run your finger around the dial of a 1928 rotary phone, say something groovy into a 1973 doughnut phone, and brace yourself for emergency news arriving on the red phone. All this and more are available to “please – touch” at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair!

In addition, on Tuesday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. come out and meet “Dr. Stonestreet” who will be there to teach everyone about 19th century medicine.

We will be located in the Old Timers’ Barn near the Chestnut St. entrance.
