History Conference 2019

January 26 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Join us on January 26 for the 13th Annual Montgomery
County History Conference, which promises to be another can’t-miss event.
Enjoy thoughtful talks, powerful speakers, and new research that you’ve come to expect. Due to the growing interest in local history, a fifth breakout has been added to the morning and afternoon sessions to ensure there is something for everyone.

This year will open with a provocative talk, “Postbellum Montgomery: Coming to Terms with Our Southern Past,” by former Washington Post writer Eugene Meyer. The closing session will be a special treat for music lovers of all ages as we discuss jazz in the Mid-Atlantic and Montgomery County with Regennia N. Williams and enjoy a special performance by the Diego Nava Jazz Trio.
