Prohibition Activists from Good Templar Lodge in Clagettsville

Join Montgomery History for a FREE lecture on Prohibition on Montgomery County by our very own librarian, Pat Andersen, on January 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Rockville Memorial Library (Meeting Room #1).

Learn how Prohibition looked in Montgomery County! We will explore the various influences on establishing dry zones in the county, “local option laws”, the enforcement issues surrounding prohibition, and how these shaped current liquor laws. This lecture is free and open to the public, but please let us know if you plan to attend.
