Pop-Up Exhibit: “Tap Into History: A Century of Typewriters” on April 12!

Have you ever used an old-fashioned typewriter? In honor of National Library Week and the NEA Big Read, Montgomery History is partnering with Montgomery County Public Libraries to host a return of its all-time favorite pop-up exhibit “Tap into History: A Century of Typewriters”. This pop-up exhibit will be displayed at the Beall-Dawson Museum with free admission on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Typewriters from the early to mid-twentieth century will be available for people of all ages to use and explore. Everyone is encouraged to type up a memory or message that can be shared. Stop by and see for them yourself. Ding! Carriage return.
