Montgomery History is the only county-wide, non-profit organization concerned with the collection, preservation and interpretation of Montgomery County’s history and heritage. Montgomery History’s staff and docents offer research and historical interpretation to the public through the Jane Sween Research Library and Special Collections, the Montgomery County Archives, and the Stonestreet Museum of 19th Century Medicine. We also provide innovative programming for the community, including historical talks available from our Speakers Bureau, weekly online History Conversations, and online exhibits, as well as pop-up engagements at community events.
All this is made possible by the support of donors like you!
Your donation to Montgomery History supports the active preservation of our local cultural heritage. In a county that is changing as rapidly as Montgomery County, your support is a strong indicator of the value you place in the work Montgomery History is doing and the long-term benefits future residents will enjoy.
