Visiting The Archives
The Montgomery County Archives is managed by Montgomery History. Materials are housed within the County Records Center, accessible by appointment only but free of charge.

When you arrive, ring the bell at the entrance door and say you are there to do research in the archives.
There is NOT a waiting room; please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time.
Rules for Research
We do not have a closed reading room, but we require that you stow any food or beverage you have with you away from the research tables and that you leave the room to consume it.
No ink pens are allowed near the materials.
You are welcome to take photos/scans of the materials with your camera or cell phone. There is NOT a photocopier available for patron use.
